Ikonic Project 100 Developers is located in Chembur, Mumbai, way up on the 12th floor of Avalon Apartment. That’s in the Raheja Acropolis complex on Mahalaxmi Marg in Deonar. It’s a pretty good view from up here, but we spend most of our time looking at blueprints or on the phone with sites. Developing projects in Mumbai is a bit like a puzzle because space is so tight. We handle all the stages of development, which means a lot of running around different offices in the city. Deonar is a busy area, and being in Chembur puts us in a good spot to reach both the city and the suburbs. We’re a small team, so everyone knows what’s going on with every project. We don't have a lot of corporate polish; we just focus on getting the work done. The 1202 flat is our base for everything. We spend a lot of time managing labor and making sure the supplies arrive at the sites on time, which is never easy with Mumbai traffic. Some days are stressful when there are delays, but we just take it one day at a time. We’ve been in this business long enough to know that things rarely go perfectly. We just keep pushing until the project is finished and everything is signed off correctly.
