Ideal Bag

We are located in the Juni Masjid Compound in Malad West, at number 57-B. It is right opposite the old Juni Masjid. If you are heading from Hatkeshwar towards the C.T.M. area, you will find us tucked away there. It is a bit of an old-fashioned compound, and it can be a bit tricky to find the first time, but we have been here for years. We make all kinds of bags. Most of our days are spent at the sewing machines. We make school bags, big traveling bags, and those small pouches that workmen use. The sound of the machines is constant from morning until we close up. I started Ideal Bag because I knew how to sew and people always need a way to carry their stuff. We use thick materials and strong thread because I do not like it when a bag falls apart after just a few weeks. The floor is usually covered in scraps of fabric and long zippers. We do not have a fancy store window or anything. People just walk in and we show them what we have finished on the racks. Sometimes a customer wants an extra pocket or a stronger strap, and we try to fix that for them right then. It gets a bit dusty being near the main road, but we do not mind. It is a family business, with my brother helping with the supplies. We are just the local bag makers in the compound.
