Ice Creams N Shakes

We have been here on Infantry Road in Kandivali West for a while now. It gets pretty hot around here during the afternoons so we keep the freezers running all day long. Usually it is just me and a couple of other guys handling the scoops and the blenders. We have a lot of different flavors in the tubs and we try to keep things stocked up so nobody leaves disappointed when they want a specific shake. Sometimes the blenders make a lot of noise when we are busy but that is just how it goes. People from the neighborhood stop by after they finish work or when the kids are done with school. We just stay focused on getting the orders right and making sure the milk is fresh. It is a small space but we make it work. The lights outside stay on until late because that is when most people want something sweet. We do not have fancy seating or anything like that, just a counter and some spots to stand. Cleaning up takes a long time every night because ice cream gets everywhere if you are not careful. We see the same faces every week and that is nice. Kandivali is a busy place so there is always someone walking by the shop. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is not complicated. We just scoop the ice cream and blend the shakes for whoever walks in the door.
