Hyper Industries

You can find Hyper Industries on the first floor of the Sant Rohidas CHS building. We are in B101, located in MP Nagar within Dharavi. It’s a very busy neighborhood, as anyone who knows Mumbai can tell you. There’s always something happening in the streets below. We have a compact space where we handle our production and packing. It’s amazing how much you can get done in a small area when you organize it well. We mostly do small-scale manufacturing and supply work. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but we’re used to it. We move a lot of goods up and down every single day. Being in Dharavi means we are surrounded by other hard-working people, which keeps us motivated. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room filled with materials and a few workbenches. We try to keep things moving so we don't get a bottleneck. Most of our day is spent coordinating with people who need our products and making sure we have enough raw material in stock. It’s a lot of physical work and constant communication. We’ve been here for a good while and have gotten to know the other shop owners on the block. It’s a tough environment, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down.
