Hutchison Whoampoa. We are set up over in Gorai, which is part of Boriwali West in Mumbai. This part of the city has a different feel compared to the town side. Being at the 400 092 pin code means we see a lot of the local traffic and the daily rush. Our office is just a regular workspace where we handle our business. It’s often quite noisy outside with the rickshaws and people heading towards the beach or the ferry. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and people trying to get through their to-do lists. Dealing with things in Mumbai means you have to be patient with the rain and the crowds. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There are more buildings now than there used to be. We just show up every morning, get the tea going, and start our work. It’s a straightforward operation without any hidden agendas or flashy presentations. We manage our tasks and try to keep things organized. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power flickers, but that’s just part of being in Boriwali. We aren’t trying to be the biggest thing in the world; we just want to do our daily tasks and go home to our families at the end of the day. It is a long walk to the station but we manage.
