Being on the ground floor on Gulmohar Road means we see a lot of what goes on in Mandvi. It's a busy spot. People are always rushing somewhere. We opened up here at 5/341 because it was easy for folks to just walk in off the street. Mostly, we deal with travel stuff. People want to go see family or maybe take a trip they've been planning for a long time. We sit here with the maps and the schedules, trying to find a route that makes sense. It’s not always easy because flights and buses change all the time. The office is pretty simple. A few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of printed out itineraries. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. It's a lot of talking on the phone and typing. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door and the address. Mandvi is a place where everyone knows everyone anyway. We get people coming in just to ask a question about a passport or a visa, and we tell them what we know. It’s steady work. The traffic outside never really stops, so there’s always this hum of engines in the background while we work. We just try to get the bookings right so nobody gets stuck at an airport or a station. It is a lot of details to track every day.
