Howra is located at Masco Farmfair on Warden Road. This part of Mumbai is also known as Breach Candy. We are very close to the IOC petrol pump, which is how most people find us. It’s a small place where we make burgers and other quick food. Warden Road is a very busy street with lots of expensive cars and people always in a hurry. Our shop isn't very big, so we don't have much room for people to sit down. Most of our customers just stand outside or take their food to go. The kitchen is tucked in the back and it gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of orders coming in at once. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. We just put out a board with the menu on it. The staff is just a few local guys who know how to work the grill. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Even though it's a high-end area, we keep our place very simple and down-to-earth. There are no uniforms or corporate rules here. We just show up, prep the buns and meat, and start cooking when the first customer arrives. It’s a basic operation that works for the people who live and work around Breach Candy and need something to eat. It's often hot in the kitchen but we just get on with it and serve whoever comes by.
