Hotel Karl Residency

We are tucked away in the Gokuldham area of Goregaon East. Our address is Nnp, Plot 6, 9-C-2, in Santosh Nagar. It’s a part of Mumbai that feels very lived-in. There are lots of residential blocks around us, and the hotel is right in the middle of it all. It’s not one of those five-star places with a massive lobby and a doorman in a tall hat. We are more of a local residency where people stay when they have business in the suburbs or family nearby. The rooms are basic but we keep them as clean as we can. We spend a lot of time making sure the linens are fresh and the fans are working. The area can get quite busy with traffic, but once you’re inside the building, it’s relatively quiet. We’ve been here at Plot 6 for a good amount of time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s a lot of greenery nearby compared to other parts of Mumbai, which is nice. Most of our guests are regulars who know exactly where Santosh Nagar is. We don't do much advertising; people just find us or hear about us from someone else. It’s a straightforward business, and we just try to make sure everyone has a decent place to sleep for the night. We handle the bookings ourselves and make sure the guests are settled in properly without much fuss or any complicated check-in routines.
