Our place, Horwick Engineering Opc Pvt Ltd, is located at 3/3 in the N N Bhavsar Chawl. It is right on Kaju Hill in Ghatkopar West. Living and working around here is quite something because of the hill. It is a very local neighborhood, very lived-in. The chawl has a lot of families and small businesses all mixed together. It can get pretty crowded and noisy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Our space is not big, just number 3/3. It is a humble kind of spot, really. We are tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the N N Bhavsar sign. Ghatkopar is a busy suburb, and being on the West side means we are close to a lot of the older residential areas. The streets are narrow and there is always someone talking or some music playing from a window nearby. It is not like those corporate parks with glass walls. It is a real place with real people. We just go about our business day by day. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have our fans going. People walk past the door all the time. It is just a small part of the Kaju Hill community. We have been here for some time and everyone knows everyone else around the chawl. It is just how it is. It’s an everyday kind of place for everyday people.
