We’ve been running Homeland Developers LLP from our office at Sangeeta on Tagore Road for quite a while now. Being in Santacruz West means we are right in the middle of everything, which is mostly a good thing despite the noise. Our space in Hira Niwas is where we handle the daily grind of building projects. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep our files and meet with contractors. Most of our day is spent dealing with the usual Mumbai headaches, like getting materials through traffic or sorting out paperwork. We’ve seen Santacruz change so much over the years, and it’s interesting to be part of that. We aren't here to give you a big sales pitch. We just focus on the actual work of developing properties and making sure the sites are moving along. Some days are stressful when things don't go as planned, but that's just the business. We try to be honest with people about what we can do. There’s a lot of running around involved, from the office to various sites, and then back again. It’s a lot of physical work and planning, but we’re used to it. We just want to do a decent job and keep the business going. It’s a simple operation, really, managed by people who know the local area well.
