Hokey Pokey Ice Cream

We are located in the GIDC Industrial Estate 3 in Borivali West. It might seem like a strange place for Hokey Pokey Ice Cream, being surrounded by factories and warehouses, but it works for us. We have the space we need for the freezers and the mixing machines. The air in here is always cold because of the equipment, which is a nice break from the heat outside in Borivali. We spend most of our time experimenting with different flavors. Some work out and some definitely don't. It is a messy job sometimes, especially when the fruit arrives or when we are cleaning the milk vats. We don't have a fancy storefront with neon lights. It is mostly just an industrial space where the work happens. People sometimes find it hard to locate us the first time they come by because the estate is quite large and the roads can be confusing. We moved here a while ago and haven't looked back. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so it is a quiet place to work during the day. We don't do much in the way of big events or parties. We just focus on making the ice cream and getting it out to the shops. It is honest work and we like being part of the Borivali West community. The machines can be loud, but we are used to it now. We just keep the temperature down and the flavors coming.
