Hither & Thither Tours & Travels

Finding us at A-1 Bhoiwada in Parel can be a bit tricky because the address mentions 23rd A Cross and Rajgopal Nagar too. It’s a bit of a mouthful. We are tucked away in Ganapathy Nagar, Phase IV. The office is small but we’ve managed to fit a few desks in. We spend the day looking at train schedules and bus routes. The name Hither & Thither kind of explains what we do, which is helping people get from one place to another. There’s always a map on the wall that's a bit outdated, but it helps when we’re talking through a route. It gets quite humid in Parel, so we keep the windows open when we can. You can hear the sounds of the street and the local vendors outside. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just answer the phone and help people book their trips. Sometimes it’s a family going on vacation, other times it’s just someone needing a ticket to the next town. We write everything down in a big notebook before putting it into the computer. It feels more solid that way. The office isn't fancy, just a place to work. We’ve had the same furniture for years and it still does the job. It’s just a local travel shop doing its thing, day after day. We stay until the work is finished and the itineraries are all printed out.
