Hitek Engineers

Our workshop, Hitek Engineers, is tucked away on Shabnam River Valley Road, near Madonna Colony Extn in Mandapeshwar, Borivli(W). It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a nice enough area compared to some of the heavy industrial zones. We have been here for a good while, and most of the neighbors know us by the sound of the metal work. We do a lot of engineering tasks, mostly small-scale things that require a bit of precision. It’s not a giant factory with hundreds of people. Instead, it’s just a handful of us who know how to handle the lathes and the drills. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of old parts and tools tucked into every corner. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what we are looking for, but we always find it eventually. Borivali is a busy place, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy titles. Everyone just does what needs to be done, whether it’s cleaning up or finishing a difficult piece of work. We get our fair share of rain in this part of town, which can make things a bit damp inside, but we just keep working through it. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like the routine.
