We have been here on Bhandari Street in Sion for quite a while now. The building at 135/141 is where everything happens every day. It is usually quite loud because of the machines running, but that is just how it is in this line of work. Most mornings start with checking the machines and seeing what needs fixing or making. We don't really have a big office or anything fancy like that. There is just a desk where we keep the papers and the rest is all floor space for the engineering equipment. Some days are very busy and we hardly have time to sit down for lunch, and other days things move a bit slower. People around Sion know the place because we have been in this spot for so long. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, so there is always grease and dust around. It’s not the cleanest job but it is what we do. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure the parts are right. Sometimes the traffic on Bhandari Street makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, though our shop stays mostly the same. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It is just a regular engineering workshop where we try to do things properly without making a big fuss about it.
