We have been running Himika Property Developers Llp out of this space in Matunga for some time now. It is on the second floor of Ranchoddas Villa on Bhaudaji Cross Road. If you know Mumbai, you know Matunga is one of those places that still feels a bit like the old days, even with all the new buildings popping up everywhere. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get our work done and have our tea. It is a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but it is quiet enough once you are inside. We spend a lot of time dealing with property papers and talking to people about where they want to live. Being in Mumbai means everything is always moving fast, and there is never enough space for anyone. We try to help figure out the property side of things without making it too complicated. The villa itself has some character, which is nice compared to those glass boxes they build now. We get a lot of locals dropping by just to ask about what is happening in the neighborhood. We do not use any big fancy words or try to act like we are a huge corporation. We are just a small team trying to make sense of the real estate market here. Sometimes the rains make the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just carry on. It's a decent spot to work from.
