Hill Top Optician

Hill Top Optician is located at Shop No 3 in Building No D 15. We are in the Sion N G O Colony in Old Panvel. If you’re coming from the main road, we are right near the Saraswat Bank. It’s a quiet little corner of the colony. The shop isn't very large. We have the glass cases for the frames and a small chair where people sit to get their eyes checked. We’ve been here for a good bit of time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We spend our days helping people pick out glasses that don't slide off their noses. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we are constantly wiping down the lenses and the display shelves. It’s mostly locals who stop by. We know most of the people who walk past our window every day. Sometimes they just pop in to say hello or ask for a quick repair on a loose screw. We don't have fancy digital displays or loud music. It’s just a calm place where we look at eye charts and talk about vision. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop directly, so we keep the shutter halfway down sometimes to stay cool. It’s a simple life here in Panvel, just running the shop and making sure everyone can see a bit better.
