Hikson Controls

We’ve been here in Bhandup West for a good while now, right at 211/A. If you know the area, you know finding us isn't too hard because we’re tucked in right near the Axis Bank. It’s a busy spot, mostly loud with the traffic and people going about their business. The shop itself is pretty functional. We don't have fancy carpets or anything like that because that's not what we're about. My father started things off small and we just kept it going. Every morning starts with a tea from the guy at the corner and then we get to work on the control panels and whatever else is on the bench. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we manage just fine. People around here know us as the guys who just get on with it. We don't spend a lot of time on the computer or making things look pretty for the internet. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they work better than the new stuff anyway. The humidity in Mumbai can be a real pain for the metal, so we spend a lot of time just keeping things clean and oiled. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We see the same faces every day and that’s how we like it. Just a local business trying to do honest work without any of that corporate talk.
