Hemant Engineering Industries

We’ve been at Plot No 135/B in the Government Industrial area of Kandivali West for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot right near the Sattva Group buildings and just a short walk from the Capsule Company on Ulsoor Road. Most mornings start early here at Hemant Engineering Industries. We get the shutters up and start going through what needs to be done for the day. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the machines are running like they should. People often get a bit lost trying to find us because the roads around here can be a bit of a maze, but once you see the landmarks, it’s not too bad. The atmosphere is loud, and there is usually some metal clanging or the sound of tools being used. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. Sometimes the traffic on Ulsoor Road is a real headache, especially when deliveries are trying to get in or out of the plot. We just handle things as they come. Our neighbors are mostly other industrial shops, so everyone knows the routine. It’s a bit dusty, and there is always something that needs fixing or adjusting. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or meetings. We just stick to the work at hand. Most of us have been working in this part of Kandivali for years, so we’ve seen how much the area has changed around the industrial estate.
