We started this travel place in Vile Parle West, specifically in Tirupati Estate, quite a while back now. It gets pretty busy around here with people dropping in to ask about train tickets or how much a trip to the coast might cost. My desk is usually covered in brochures and some old maps we still keep for some reason. People know us in the neighborhood because we've been sitting in this same spot for years. It's just a small office really, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or trying to figure out the best routes when the systems get slow. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice before we even get a chance to sit down and drink it. It isn’t always easy keeping track of all the different schedules, but we manage somehow. Residents from around the estate stop by just to chat sometimes, even if they aren't going anywhere. We have a few computers that have seen better days but they still work for what we need. It's mostly just about getting things sorted for people who want to visit family or take a short break somewhere. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us here making sure the bookings get done correctly. Sometimes the printer jams when we're in a hurry to get a ticket printed, but that's just how it goes in a small shop like ours. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down to see the screens.
