You can find Hasina Florist at 20/A on Link Road in D N Nagar, right beside Yoko Sizzlers. If you can smell the food cooking from next door, you’re definitely in the right place. We’ve been here in Santacruz West for a long time now. It’s a family-run thing and we just do our best with what we have each day. The shop is small and can get a bit humid because of all the water and the fresh plants we keep inside. We start our day very early, usually when it's still dark outside, to get the freshest stuff from the market across town. It’s a lot of driving back and forth in the morning traffic. We don't have a big fancy website or any corporate offices. We mostly just talk to people who walk in off the street. Some of our customers have been coming to us for many years, ever since their kids were little. It’s really nice to see them grow up and start coming in on their own. We have buckets of flowers sitting everywhere and sometimes it’s hard to walk through the shop without bumping into something. We try to keep it tidy but flowers are messy things by nature. There are always thorns to deal with and leaves to trim off the stems. It’s honest, hard work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. We don’t make a big deal out of things or use fancy words.
