Working over here on Sitladevi Temple Road in Mahim means we are always near the hum of the city. Harvey India Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd is just a group of us in an office, trying to make sense of travel itineraries all day long. Even though we have the private limited name, it really just feels like a small family business once you step inside. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, computers, and a lot of old files that we probably should have thrown out years ago. We handle a lot of different tours, but mostly it's just about making sure the details are right. One of us is usually on a long hold with a hotel while another is trying to figure out why a visa application got sent back. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, really. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to the temple, and sometimes they pop in just to see what we do. We try to keep things straightforward and honest because that’s the only way to stay in business in a place like Mahim. We don’t use any fancy software that does everything for us; it’s mostly just us typing away and making calls. Sometimes we stay late because a client is in a different time zone, but we don't mind too much. It's just what the work requires of us.
