Hangout Florists

Hangout Florists is located at number 3 in the Keshav Shruti Building in Malad West. We’re right across from Pride Village, so it’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re in the area. We’ve been working with flowers here for a long time. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it gets really crowded with all the buckets of roses and lilies we have sitting around. The smell is usually nice, though, which is a plus. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a bouquet. We spend our mornings getting the fresh stock in and our afternoons putting things together. Some days my hands are covered in dirt and sap, but that’s just part of the job. We don't do those overly perfect arrangements you see in magazines. Ours are more natural-looking. We just use what’s fresh and looks good. People from around Malad West stop by when they need something for a birthday or just to put on their table. We know most of the regulars by name now. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. What you see in the shop is what you get. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially on holidays like Valentine’s Day, but we get the orders out. It’s a practical, local business and we’re happy to be here in Keshav Shruti. It’s just a regular life for us and we enjoy it.
