You'll find H. M. Extrusions Machines & Tools inside the Bombay Talkies Compound. It's at 35-B, right near where they hold the Somwari Bazaar in Malad West. It gets really crowded around here on Mondays because of the market. Our shop is full of heavy metal parts and tools. We spend most of our day working on extrusion machines. It’s dusty and there’s always the smell of oil in the air. We don't have a front desk person or anything. Usually, someone is just bent over a machine and you have to yell to get their attention over the noise. We've been in this compound for quite a while. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but that’s not really a priority when there’s work to do. We make tools that other factories need. It's basic, honest work. Sometimes we run out of space for all the inventory. We have to stack things up high. It’s a bit of a maze inside. My brother and I started this with just a couple of old lathes. Now we have a few more things but the way we work hasn't changed much. We just take orders and finish them when we say we will. People come to us because they know we are here in Malad. It’s a local business and we like being part of this industrial area. There is no reason to make it more complicated than that.
