Gurukrupa Engineering

We are located in the E Wing of Floral Deck Plaza, up on the sixth floor. Gurukrupa Engineering is right in the middle of the MIDC area in Andheri East. Being near SEEPZ means there are always people rushing around with ID badges and bags. Our office is a mix of engineering drawings and computer screens. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of reference books and old projects filed away in metal cabinets. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but you need it in Mumbai. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to the guys on the shop floor about how to get the tolerances right. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The lift is sometimes slow, so we end up chatting with the other people who work on our floor. It is a very professional area, but our office still feels a bit more relaxed. We have photos of our families on the desks and a small corner where we keep the kettle and some snacks. Engineering is hard work, and you have to be precise, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We just want to do a good job and get home to our families in the evening. The view from the sixth floor isn't great, just more buildings, but we like the energy of Andheri. It is a good place to be.
