Gurukripa Glass

We have shops 9 and 10 over in the Platinum Building, which is right on C D Barfiwal Road in Andheri West. Specifically, we are in the Junaid Nagar area along Juhu Lane. It’s a busy part of the city, and having two shop units gives us just enough space to keep all the glass we need. Working with glass means there’s always a bit of a mess with cutting and moving sheets around. You have to be careful where you step sometimes. We get a lot of noise from the Juhu Lane traffic outside, but after a while, you stop noticing the horns and the shouting. People come in looking for different types of glass for their homes or projects, and we just see what we can do for them. It’s a very manual job, lots of lifting and measuring. We don’t have a big marketing department or a fancy showroom; it’s mostly just us in our work clothes surrounded by crates and tools. The Platinum Building is easy to find, which helps since we have deliveries coming and going all the time. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know how to handle the material without too much trouble. It gets pretty hot in the shop during the summer, but we keep the doors open and just get on with it. That’s life at Gurukripa Glass.
