We operate Gurudatt Travels from office number 7 in the Ellora Park Commerce Center. This is right in the Tardeo area, which is a pretty central part of the city to be in. The Commerce Center is a busy building with a lot of different offices, so there’s a constant stream of people coming and going from the elevators. Our space is fairly small, just enough for a couple of desks and a place for people to sit while we talk. We’ve been here for a while now, and the office has definitely started to feel like a second home. We have some maps and some old calendars on the walls, and there’s always a stack of itineraries sitting on the corner of the desk. Tardeo can be a nightmare for traffic, especially during the rush hour, so we usually hear the honking from the street all day long. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure all the bookings are lined up correctly. It’s a lot of computer work and phone calls, really. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just focused on the screen. The building is a bit older, so sometimes the hallway lights are out, but our office is comfortable enough for what we need. It’s a straightforward business, and we just take things one day at a time here without overthinking it much.
