Gujarat Milk Products

Our place is over in Islampura, specifically at Behram Baug 35. If you know the area, you know it’s a tight-knit spot with a lot of houses close together. We deal with milk and dairy, which means our day starts way before most people are even thinking about waking up. Around four in the morning, the crates start arriving and we have to get everything sorted and stored. The floor is usually a bit wet from the cleaning we do constantly. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the milk stays fresh and the containers are moved out to the local shops and homes. We don’t have a big storefront with lights and signs. It’s more of a functional space where work gets done. Sometimes the neighbors come by to pick up a few liters directly. We know most of them by name after all these years. The fridge units are old but they still work hard, humming in the background all day long. Sometimes we have issues with the delivery bikes or the traffic in the narrow lanes of Islampura, but we manage somehow. We aren’t trying to be a big corporation or anything. We just provide what the local area needs and try to keep our heads down. It’s a messy business sometimes, with the crates and the heavy lifting, but it is what we have been doing for years and we are used to it.
