You can find us at 3 Churchgate House, right on Veer Nariman Road in Fort. It is a very old part of Mumbai, and the building reflects that with its thick walls and old-style windows. Being in the machinery manufacturing business means we are often dealing with very technical and heavy topics, even though this is just our main office and not the factory floor. We have heaps of technical manuals and blueprints scattered around the place. It often looks a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is. The noise from the street outside is constant, with cars and people always rushing by, but we have grown used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the workshops and the people who need specific parts or machines built. It involves a lot of back-and-forth emails and long phone calls to make sure the measurements are exactly right. We do not have a marketing team writing shiny brochures for us. We just rely on the fact that we have been doing this for a long time and know the machines inside and out. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes the deadlines are tight, but we just keep pushing through the pile of paperwork on our desks every single day. The building gets a bit drafty in the winter months, but we just drink more hot tea to keep going.
