Group M , Dialect

Our office is located in West View, B Block, over in Prathana Samaj. It’s an old part of Mumbai, and the building definitely has that classic feel to it. Group M and the Dialect team work out of here, mostly focusing on the advertising side of things. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the desks and partitions we’ve put up over the years. Prathana Samaj is a busy area, so there is always a lot of noise coming up from the street. We are on the second floor, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but we’re used to it by now. The work we do involves a lot of data and planning for media, so you’ll see people huddled around computers most of the day. It’s not a very quiet office; there is always someone on the phone or a group of people arguing about a spreadsheet. We don’t really go for the polished, modern look. The walls are covered in old posters and calendars, and there’s usually a stack of newspapers somewhere. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. You can go downstairs and get some of the best snacks in the city just a few steps away. It’s a practical place for practical people. We just get on with it and try to stay on top of the workload, which never seems to get any smaller.
