Our office situation is a bit funny since we don’t just stay in one spot, our address is listed as per attached details which basically means we could be anywhere the work takes us. Usually, we’re huddled in a back room somewhere in Mumbai or near one of the properties. It’s a lot of coordination, to be honest. We’re always talking to the different properties and trying to make sure the guest lists and room schedules aren't all messed up. The office is usually full of people talking on their headsets or typing away. We have folders for every different resort and hotel under the name. It gets pretty hectic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to travel at the same time. We drink a lot of tea and coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. The desks are covered in sticky notes and printouts of booking confirmations that we need to file. We don't really have a fancy reception area for ourselves, we’re more the back-end people who make sure things work. Sometimes the systems go down and we have to do everything by hand on paper until the internet comes back up. It’s a bit stressful, but we’ve all been doing it long enough that we don't really panic anymore. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the resorts running smoothly from our side. It’s a lot of work that most people don't see. We just keep going.
