Grand Sarovar Premiere

I have been at Shop No. 165 for a long time now. People in Hanuman Nagar know us well. It is a busy spot in Kandivli East where the shutters go up every single morning before the sun gets too high. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit under the door during the monsoon. We just mop it up and keep going. My cousin helps out when the place gets crowded. We see the same faces every morning and the tea stall next door is where we get our breakfast. Kandivli has changed so much since we first started. There are way more buildings now. It used to be much quieter. Now there is noise all day from the street and the passing autos. We do not mind really. It is just part of being here. Our tools and boxes stay stacked in the back. There isn't a lot of room, but we make it work for us. Customers come in and talk about their family or the weather. Sometimes they stay too long just chatting. That is fine though. It feels like a small community even with all the cars rushing by. Grand Sarovar Premiere does not have fancy lights or a big sign. The address is simple enough. You just find Shop 165 and we are right there. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. We usually close up late. It is a tired feeling at the end of the day.
