Granada Engineering Company

Granada Engineering Company is up on the 5th floor of the Ginza building. We are right at the corner of 23rd and 29th Road in Bandra West. It’s a bit different than the ground-floor workshops you see around here. Being on the 5th floor means we have to carry everything up and down the elevator, which can be a pain when it’s out of order. We do a lot of planning and some lighter assembly work in this space. There are desks cluttered with drawings and small parts scattered around. Bandra is always moving, and we can hear the noise from the street even all the way up here. We’ve been in this office for quite a few years. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work for us. There is a small pantry in the back where we make coffee and eat our lunch. We are just a small team trying to stay on top of our projects. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for a decade or more. We don't bother with fancy brochures or expensive websites. If someone needs engineering help, they usually just call our landline or stop by the building. The windows give us a decent view of the rooftops, which is nice during the monsoon. We try to keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay late to finish a drawing. It’s just the nature of the business in a place like Mumbai.
