The business is located at 46 Ground Floor on Old Hanuman Lane in the Kalbadevi area. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow and crowded the lanes can get. We have been operating from this spot for a long time, and the building itself has a lot of history to it. Inside, it is mostly piles of goods and big old ledgers where we keep track of everything. It is not like those fancy offices you see in the newer parts of town. We have high ceilings and the walls have been painted the same color for many years. Every morning, we open the heavy shutters and start organizing the orders for the day. There is a lot of back and forth with the loaders and the handcarts that move through the lane. It is a noisy place, with people shouting and bells ringing from the nearby temples. We sit at the wooden desks and handle the paperwork as it comes in. Most of our day is spent talking to traders or checking the quality of the items we have in stock. It is a bit of a maze in here, but we know where every single box is kept. We don't really change how we do things much because the old ways still work fine for us. It is just a regular day-to-day operation in a very busy part of the market.
