Goloka Infra Projects operates out of Wadala Udyog Bhavan. If you are familiar with the Naigaon Cross Road area, you probably know where the MTNL office is. We are right near there in unit B3. Wadala is a very industrial and busy part of Mumbai, and being in an Udyog Bhavan reflects that. The building is old and has a lot of history, with many different businesses running side by side. Our days are filled with the usual infra project stuff like checking site reports and talking to contractors. It is a functional space, nothing too elaborate. We have desks piled with folders and maps of the project areas. The atmosphere is generally quiet until a delivery comes in or we have to scramble to fix a site issue. Being centrally located in Wadala helps us reach different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the local traffic. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather focus on the actual work. People in the building know us as the group that’s always busy with construction plans. It’s a lot of manual tracking and staying on top of the various project phases. The office is small but it serves its purpose for the team we have. We keep things simple and just try to get through the daily list of tasks without too much fuss. We've been here a while and know most of the neighbors in the building.
