We’re based out of Abdulla Mansion in Chinchbunder, which is a really old and busy part of Mumbai. Our office is on the ground floor at 6 Tandel Street South, right off M A Saran Marg. It’s a very practical location because we can move materials in and out without much trouble, though the narrow streets around here are always a challenge for the drivers. We do general construction work, which mostly involves renovations and some new building projects around the city. The office is usually cluttered with samples of tiles, bags of grout, and folders full of invoices. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the whole crew is here, but we make it work. We aren't interested in being a big, polished corporation. We’re just local people who know how to build stuff that lasts. Most of our mornings start with a lot of noise as we get the day’s tasks sorted out. Mumbai is a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but we’ve been doing this long enough to know the shortcuts. We don't have a big sales team; we just let our work speak for itself when people walk by our sites. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, and we just take it day by day until the job is done. Even when things go wrong, we just find a way to fix them and keep moving.
