We operate out of 801/A in Jal Vayu Vihar, which is tucked away in Powai. Our building is right behind Hiranandani Gardens, but Jal Vayu Vihar is a bit older and more settled than the shiny new towers nearby. It is a residential society where a lot of retired service people and families live. Our office is just one of the units in the block. It is a quiet area compared to the main Powai roads, which is nice when we are trying to get things done. We have a simple desk setup in the main room and some storage for our documents in the back. The 8th floor gives us a decent look at the greenery around the society. We have been here for some time now. Getting in and out of Powai can be a nightmare because of the traffic on the JVLR, but once you are inside the gates of the society, it is pretty peaceful. We do not have a big staff or a fancy lobby. It is just a few of us working from this flat. Most of our neighbors are people who have lived here for twenty years, so we try to keep the noise down. We have our computers and our phones, and that is about all we need to keep things running. It is a very practical, low-profile way to work in a very busy part of Mumbai.
