Glitorium The Hardware

If you are looking for us, we are at Shop No. 1 in the Shaniya Apartment building on V. P. Road. It’s very close to the railway crossing in Vileparle West, so you can’t really miss it. You will probably hear the train horn before you even see the shop. We sell hardware, so the store is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of metal bits, tools, and fixings. It is a small shop, and sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you need without asking one of us to dig it out from the back. We don't have a computer system to track everything; we mostly just know where things are by memory. It’s a dusty place because of all the metal and wood parts we keep in stock. Locals come in every day for small things like a single bolt or a new door handle. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regular customers who live in the apartments nearby. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We open early in the morning and stay until late in the evening. There isn't any fancy lighting or displays, just rows of shelves and boxes. It’s just a normal hardware store where we try to help people find what they need for their home repairs.
