Geniune Leather World

Down here in Mulund West, we’ve got our little leather shop. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have a lot going on inside the walls. We handle all sorts of leather goods, trying to make sure everything we put out is solid and worth the price. The humidity in Mumbai can be a bit of a pain for the leather, so we have to be mindful of how we store the raw materials. We don't have a fancy corporate office or a floor full of receptionists. It’s mostly just us and the tools we use to cut and sew. Most days involve checking the grain of the hide or fixing a zipper that got stuck. We've seen a lot of shops come and go in this part of town, but we've managed to stick around by just being honest about what we sell. People come in asking for repairs sometimes, and we do what we can. It’s a small team, and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the heavy lifting. There isn't a big story behind the name or anything, we just wanted people to know what they were getting. If you are in Mulund West and need something made of leather, you usually end up finding your way to us eventually. We are just simple folks doing our jobs as best as we can. It’s a living and we take pride in the daily grind.
