Galaxy Super Market

We’ve been running Galaxy Super Market here in Sion for a long time now. You can find us at number 2 in the Sindhi Society, which is right across from the Gurukripa Hotel. Everyone knows that hotel, so it makes finding our shop pretty easy for new people. We are a local grocery store, the kind of place where we know most of our customers by their first names. We stock all the usual things you’d need at home, from lentils and rice to soaps and snacks. It’s not a giant warehouse like those big chains you see in malls. Our shelves are a bit crowded sometimes because we try to fit in everything people ask for. The morning rush is always a bit hectic when people are getting their milk and bread, but we manage to keep things moving. We don't have any fancy loyalty programs or big marketing slogans. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the prices fair for the families living in the society. Working here means you hear all the local news and gossip, which makes the day go by faster. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and even the staff have been with us for years. We just open up early, sweep the front, and get ready for the day. It’s a simple life but it’s a good one here in Sion. We’re just glad to be the place where neighbors meet while picking up their groceries.
