Gala Tourist Guide

Gala Tourist Guide is based out of the Ratnasagar Building. We are in Malad East, specifically the 4 Bungalows area. Our spot is at number 2, right across from the Champion Store. It is a local landmark, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us. The building itself is one of those typical Mumbai apartment blocks where businesses take up some of the space on the lower floors. It isn't a fancy office with a view, just a room where we organize things and take calls. There are always papers on the desk and maps pinned to the walls. Malad East is a busy part of town, and there is always noise from the street outside. We spend our days talking to people who want to see different parts of the city or maybe go further away. Being a guide means you have to know the streets, and we have spent a lot of time learning them. We don't use big flashy signs to get attention. Most people just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the building while they are shopping at the Champion Store. It is a humble way to run a business. We start early and often finish late, depending on who needs help that day. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, and we feel like we are right in the middle of it. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in Malad. We keep doing what we do and try to stay organized.
