Gala Shrink Fit

We’ve been based out of Charkop for quite some time now, specifically at 15 ABCD in the Govt. Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever walked through Kandivali West, you know it’s a busy place with lots of small units like ours tucked away. Our space isn't very fancy, but it works for what we do. Mostly, we deal with shrink fit tools and parts. The workshop gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running since eight in the morning. We spend a lot of our time checking measurements and making sure the metal pieces fit exactly how they are supposed to. Sometimes the trucks blocking the narrow lanes in the estate make it hard to get things in and out, but that’s just how it is around here. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years. They know the sounds the machines make when something isn't quite right. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a nice office with air conditioning all day. Most of us are on our feet, moving boxes or tightening bolts. We get a lot of local guys stopping by to ask for parts or just to see if we can help with a specific fitting problem. We just try to get the work done and get home before the traffic in Kandivali gets too bad. It’s honest work, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate over the years.
