G & S Overseas

G & S Overseas is based out of Bijal Apartments, specifically unit 2/2, in Malad West. Being in an apartment building in Mumbai means we are part of a very busy community. There’s always the sound of someone’s TV or kids playing in the hallway, which makes it feel less like a cold office and more like a home. Our space at G & S Overseas is packed with desks, computers, and a lot of samples. We’ve had to be quite clever with how we use the space since it isn't huge. Most of our day is spent communicating with people overseas, so we are often here at odd hours to match different time zones. The traffic in Malad is famous, so most of us try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We don't have any big flashy signs or a reception desk. You just ring the bell and come into the main room where everyone is working. We do our own filing and handle the paperwork ourselves. It’s a very hands-on way of running things. Sometimes we have meetings in the small living area, but usually, we are just glued to our screens. Malad West is a good spot because everything we need is just a short walk away. We have been running things from this apartment for years now, and it has become very familiar to all of us. It’s just a normal workplace for a regular team.
