We have been at Plot No.39/44 in the Mysore Chemical Compound for quite a while now. If you know Sion East, you know it gets pretty busy around T V Chidambaram Marg. Our day usually starts early when the gates open and the workers start coming in. It is an industrial area, so there is always some noise from the machines or trucks moving things around. We just focus on the engineering work we have in front of us. Some days are slower than others, but mostly we are just keeping busy with whatever orders came in that week. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to people who drop by. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the compound stays more or less the same. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know every corner of the workshop. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We try to keep things organized, though with all the parts and metal lying around, it can get a bit cluttered. It is just a regular place where people come to work every day and go home when the shift is over. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for some bills or emails.
