Future Media (India) Ltd is situated on Gorai Rd in the Borivali area of Mumbai, Maharashtra 400091. Mumbai is a city that never really stays quiet, and being on Gorai Rd means we are right in the middle of all that energy. Our office is a functional space where we spend most of our waking hours. It is not one of those ultra-modern offices you see in the magazines. We have regular desks, some mismatched chairs, and plenty of cabinets filled with files we have collected over time. The air in the office usually smells a bit like the local snacks we get from the vendors outside. Because it is Mumbai, we have to deal with the heat and the rain, so the office is our shelter from the elements while we focus on our media work. We do not have any big mission statements or motivational posters on the walls. We just have a calendar and maybe a few personal photos here and there. The team is a hardworking group, and we tend to keep things very informal. We talk loudly, laugh a lot, and make sure the work gets finished on time. The commute to Borivali can be long for some of us, but once we get to Gorai Rd, we settle in and get to work. It is a real, unpolished place where people come to do a real job every day of the week.
