Fresh Flora

Fresh Flora is situated in the B Wing of Rizvi House, which is part of a housing society on Hill Road in Bandra West. It’s a busy part of the city, and the traffic outside never really seems to stop. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The space inside is practical. We have some tables for sorting through the different types of flora that come in. Bandra has a specific kind of energy, and we feel it every day. Early in the day, it is mostly about prepping and cleaning. We don't use a lot of complicated machines or anything. It’s mostly just hands-on work with scissors and tape. The building itself, Rizvi House, is a familiar landmark for people living around here. Sometimes the neighbors from the apartments upstairs come by just to see what’s new. We don't spend a lot of money on advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us because they live nearby or they’re walking down Hill Road. We keep the lights on and stay busy until the sun goes down. It’s a straightforward life. We deal with the deliveries, handle the stock, and try to keep everything tidy, though that is hard when you are working with nature all day. It gets messy quickly. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay organized amidst all the stems and leaves.
