You can find us at Marine Lines on Assaye Road, specifically Dickenson Road at Shop No 300. It’s an old building, and the area around Dr Cawsji Hormosji is full of history. Fortune Cookie isn't a huge factory or anything like that. It’s a small shop where we keep things simple. We have a few shelves and a counter that’s seen better days. The floor is a bit uneven, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. Most of the people who come here are locals who have been living in Marine Lines for decades. They stop in for a quick chat and to see what we have fresh that day. I usually spend my time checking the inventory or cleaning the glass cases. It’s not a fancy place with a website or a marketing team. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the narrow streets around here, which can be a bit of a headache. But usually, things run pretty smooth. We’ve got a small radio in the back that plays old songs while we work. It keeps the atmosphere nice. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We are just a local shop in a quiet corner of the city, trying to provide something decent for the neighborhood folks who know us by name. It feels good to be part of the community here.
