Food Dairy Industries

Over in Parel, things are always moving fast, especially in the A-Z Industrial Estate at G K. Our unit, Food Dairy Industries, is located at number 238. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything pretty or decorated. We have machines for processing dairy products and there’s always the sound of cooling units running in the background. It gets quite cold inside because of the refrigeration, which is a nice break from the Mumbai heat outside, but it can be tough on the joints after a few hours. We handle milk products and make sure everything is moved out to the delivery trucks as quickly as possible. The estate itself is a bit old and the hallways are narrow, with people moving crates and boxes all day long. We’ve been here for a while and we know the other business owners around us. We don’t spend time on making fancy websites or thinking about missions; we just focus on the temperature of the vats and the timing of the pickups. It’s a messy business sometimes, with floors that need constant washing, but that is just how dairy work goes. We don't have a front shop for people to walk in and browse; it’s more about the work happening behind the big metal doors. We just keep our heads down and do the job that needs doing every day. If the trucks are late, we stay until the cargo is finally loaded up.
