Flowers & Petals

You’ll find us at 273/3 Khatija Manzil, right on LBS Marg in Dadar West. We are directly across from the Kohinoor Technical Institute. The shop is small and always smells like fresh cut stems and water. We have buckets of flowers sitting all over the floor, and it can be a bit hard to walk around sometimes. We spend the whole day trimming leaves, putting together bouquets, and cleaning up petals. It’s a messy job, and our hands are usually wet or covered in dirt. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The street outside is always busy with people going to the institute or catching the bus. We don’t have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a simple place where we keep the flowers fresh. We get our stock early in the morning from the market. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a festival or a wedding nearby. We don’t really do any big advertising. People just see the flowers and stop by. We have a couple of stools if you need to wait while we tie a bunch together. There’s always music playing from a small radio in the corner. It’s just a local flower shop. We do the work we like and keep the place running as best as we can. It’s a nice way to spend the day for us. We like the flowers.
