Floritek

Floritek is tucked away at 33/14/18 Hosur Main Road, right in the middle of the Sewri and Chandapura area. If you know this road, you know how much traffic there is at almost every hour of the day. The dust from the main road is something we have to fight against constantly, wiping down our shelves and the glass front every few hours. It’s not the most peaceful spot, but being on a main road means we get to see a lot of what’s happening in the neighborhood. We’ve got a small team here, and most of our time is spent just handling the logistics of getting things in and out without getting stuck in a traffic jam. The address sounds a bit complicated with all those numbers, but once you find the building, it’s pretty tomorrow. We don't have a big corporate office or a polished showroom. It is a practical space where we do the real work of sorting through our inventory and making sure everything is ready for the day. Sometimes the power goes out or the water supply is a bit slow, which are just the normal things you deal with around here. We’ve got a few old fans that keep the air moving while we work. People sometimes think the name Floritek sounds like a technology company, but we are just regular folks working with plants and flowers every day. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy crates and dealing with thorns, but it’s what we do.
