Floral Hut

Our little spot is over at 6 Sagar Garden, right near the Green World showroom in Sector 17 C. If you know Mulund West, you know this area stays pretty busy with shoppers and cars. We’ve been running Floral Hut from this location for some time now. It's not a huge place, just a simple shop where we keep different kinds of flowers throughout the week. Every morning starts with cleaning up the space and getting the water changed in the big plastic containers. It can be a lot of work keeping things fresh when the weather gets hot outside. We see a lot of people coming by on their way to other shops in the sector. It is mostly locals from the nearby buildings who drop in for a few stems. Sometimes we have a lot of variety, other times it depends on what was available at the market that morning. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor of the shop itself. It’s mostly just buckets and some metal racks. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a while. Working with flowers means your hands are always a bit dirty or damp, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We try to be helpful when someone asks for something specific, though we just sell what is currently on the floor. It’s a quiet enough life here in Mulund. We just open up, do the work, and go home.
